Dravid, who has not been picked in a one-day team for two years, said he was surprised by his inclusion in theu00a0 side. He announced that he would not be available for limited overs cricket after the completion of the ODI series in England.

Dravid played in the 1999, 2003 and 2007 World Cups. He was captain in the last mentioned edition where India crashed out in embarrassing fashion with Greg Chappell as coach.

When reminded that he has been a great servant of Indian cricket and one who has taken up all challenges, Dravid said: "A lot of people have done a lot for Indian cricketu00a0-- not only me."

Dravid said that the forthcoming one-day series was an exciting prospect. "Obviously in the short-term, this (ODI series) is exciting. In the long-term, I think it is best for me to focus on Test cricket," said Dravid, who has 10,000 plus runs to his name in ODI cricket.

On Saturday, the selectors picked Dravid in the ODI squad because of his form shown in the Test series. Dravid scored a century in the Lord's and Nottingham Test. The third Test at Birmingham kicks off on Wednesday.
