England made 172-8 with the help of 24-ball 38 by James Vincent and 22-ball 33 by stand-in skipper Jos Buttler. Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi finished with 3-15 in his four overs, becoming the highest wicket-taker in all Twenty20 cricket with 86 wickets in as many matches.
