Former Australian cricketer Tom Moody finally heaved a sigh of relief yesterday after people stopped trolling him mistaking his name with that of the US financial ratings company, Moody's Investors Service, that gave an improved rating to the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"Thanks to all of you who have realised I don't work in the finance ratings industry! #Moodys," the former Aussie all-rounder wrote on his Twitter handle yesterday. Several CPM leaders including Sitaram Yechury criticised India's sovereign rating upgrade by global agency Moody's following which many social media users attacked Tom Moody online.
One Twitter user wrote: "We communist party (CPM) understand you take commission from Modi and give good report. Shame, shame Moody." Another added: "In 2019 election, you will see your Modi bite the dust, you ******* Moody."
