Formula One driver Felipe Massa has gone home to convalesce after completing tests at a Sao Paulo hospital following his near-fatal July 25 accident in Hungary, his doctor here said.

The 28-year-old Brazilian, who suffered serious head injuries but is now recovering, left the Albert Einstein Hospital after staying overnight, doctor Dino Altman told reporters.
