Gary Lineker wants Sir Alex Ferguson to re-create his famous boot-kick at David Beckham for an ad.
The Match Of The Day host had asked fans which celebrity they would like to see in his Walkers Crisps commercial, to which one said Fergie should kick a boot at him after he steals his crisps.
"You need to get Alex Ferguson in your next ad. Have him kick a boot at you as you nab his crisps :)" the Daily Star quoted Scott Carruthers as posting on Twitter.
"Genius! Do you want to ask him or should I?" Lineker wrote.
The 2003 dressing room incident where Ferguson kicked a football boot at then United midfielder left Beckham with a cut over his left eye.
The ex-Tottenham striker has already starred with Lionel Richie and Spice Girl Emma Bunton, and thinks the Manchester United manager would be perfect.
He also liked the suggestion that he goes back in time with Dr. Who star Matt Smith.
The ideas, along with calls for Wayne Rooney and David Hasslehoff came from a Q and A with Lineker on Walkers' Twitter feed.
