Indore: After tough practice sessions, some cricketers relax by listening to music. Others prefer a massage. But Gujarat's prolific opening batsman Priyank Panchal reaches out for a pen and his diary to jot down his essential 'to do' list.
Panchal, this Ranji season's highest run-getter with 1270 runs, is all set to take on Mumbai in the Ranji final here today.
The 26-year-old cricketer made these jottings a habit during his under-19 days. “I am excited to play my first Ranji final. How was this final-entry possible? What was the process? How did we deal with failure? I think all these aspects are very important for me to jot down,” Panchal told mid-day yesterday.
