Troubled Pakistan umpire Asad Rauf has called it quits from all levels of umpiring due to personal commitments, according to a report here on Saturday.
A report on the website of the ‘Express’ newspaper said that since his umpiring duties involved a lot of travelling, he was unable to give enough time for his family and business.
The reports mentioned that Rauf has an ailing son. Rauf (57) was dropped from the ICC elite panel in June after he was named in the spot fixing scandal that rocked the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League. He thus could not officiate in the Champions Trophy. u00a0
