The Hussey brothers took centre stage as Australia kept the Commonwealth Bank Series alive with a six-wicket victory over New Zealand in Adelaide today.

Having fallen 2-0 behind in the best-of-five contest, the hosts have now won the last two matches to set up a winner-takes-all clash in Brisbane on Friday.

New Zealand relied on a late surge to register 244 for eight from their 50 overs -- a total which never looked like being enough and Australia cruised to victory with 10 balls to spare.

Earlier, Ross Taylor helped New Zealand set Australia a modest first innings total of 244 for 8 in the fourth one-dayer for the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy at the Adelaide Oval this morning.

Taylor and Kyle Mills used the batting Powerplay (taken in the 43rd over) to a tee, scoring 53 runs off it.

For Australia Mitchell Johnson did most of the damage claiming three wickets for 51 runs. It was Johnson who finally got Taylor off the top-edge while he was trying to pull (caught by wicketkeeper Brad Haddin). Taylor though has done his bit scoring as many as 76 runs off only 71 balls.

New Zealand won the toss and skipper Daniel Vettori wasted no time in deciding to bat given they had lost chasing on Sunday at the SCG.
