Bengaluru: India A bowlers ripped through the Bangladesh A line-up in a superb combined effort as the home team thrashed the visitors by an innings and 36 runs to win the only unofficial cricket Test here today.

Resuming at overnight 36 for 2 on day 3, Bangladesh A were bowled out for 151 in 39.3 overs with Ishwar Pandey (3/28), Jayant Yadav (3/48) and Abhimanyu Mithun (2/23) doing the bulk of damage at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

After India A posted 411 for 5 declared against Bangladesh's 228, the visiting batsmen faced the tall task of not just wiping off a significant lead but also post a good target for the hosts.

However, Bangladesh A failed to erase even the first innings deficit as only five of their batsmen could reach doubles scores with skipper Mominul Haque (54) and wicket-keeper batsman Liton Das (38) emerging as the highest runscorer.

Resuming their innings, Mominul and Liton shared 61 runs for the third wicket but their partnership lasted only a little over eight overs today as Pandey cleaned bowled the latter in the 20th over.

Two balls later, Pandey struck again trapping first innings centurion Sabbir Rahman infront of wicket for his third wicket. He had got rid of opener Anamul Haque for naught yesterday.

It was then Mithun's turn to produce a double blow as he first cleaned up Nasir Hossain (1) in his first delivery and then had Shuvagata Hom caught by Yadav in the fifth ball of the 23rd over as Bangladesh A slipped to 87 for six.

Left stranded on the other end, Mominul then joined hands with Saqlain Sajib (21) and they tried to resurrect the innings with a 33-run stand before the skipper was sent packing by Yadav in the 33rd over.

Saqlain then took his team to the 150-mark but fell prey to Yadav's offbreak in the 39th over.

In the next over, Jadeja ended the five-ball stay of Jubair Hossain (1) when he was stumped by Ojha, thus bringing an end to Bangladesh A second innings as No 10 batsman Rubel Hossain was absent hurt.
