India remain the only team without a win in the quadrangular U-19 tournament underway in Townsville after going down to Australia U-19 by four wickets in the second match on Saturday.
After being shot out for 123 in their first match against the New Zealand colts, Indian batsmen fared a lot better in their second match, scoring 260 in the allotted 50 overs. “It was a nice wicket to bat on with the ball coming on to the bat nicely. It did not have awkward bounce like the wicket of the first match,” skipper Unmukt Chand said.
