Kevin O'Brien, the fastest centurion at the 2011 World Cup (Ireland vs England in Bangalore), is hoping to be as colourful as possible in the IPL V starting in April.

Speaking from Dublin, the 28-year-old Ireland all-rounder said, "With my natural hair colour being orange, it makes sense to dye the middle of my head blonde and the right side of my head green to make the Irish national flag."
"The Irish cricket team is involved in 'Shave or Dye' campaign which is being run so well by a leading radio station in Ireland, Today FM. I have dyed my hair blonde and pink for the last two years, but this year could see a slight change in colours," he added.
With both O'Brien brothers -- Kevin and Niall -- going under the hammer in Bangalore tomorrow, Kevin sounded excited to be part of the auction. "It will be a privilege to play in IPL V as it's a chance to play with and against the world's greatest players.
Hopefully, my World Cup innings against England will stand me in good stead to be picked by a franchise on Saturday. I would love to play for any franchise and hope one of them see my ability and results in the UK Twenty20 season last year for Gloucestershire.
I scored a hundred off 44 balls. With Twenty20 being so important for Ireland this year, I want to gather as much experience as possible in the most exciting form of the game," he said.
