December 20th is proving to be a lucky date for many. Hours after Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali welcomed a baby boy into the world, it was the turn of Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan. The Baroda lad took to Twitter to announce that he and his wife Safa Baig had become proud parents to a baby boy.

The India all-rounder had got married to the Jeddah-based 21-year-old in Mecca in February 2016. They had apparently met 2 years ago.

He tweeted, “Is ehsas ko Bayaan karna Mushkil hai…is me Ek behtareen si Kashish hay, blessed with a baby boy (sic).”

Unfortunately for Irfan, his baby was born a few hours after 'Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi' took over social media. With Twitterati in overdrive mode about Taimur's name, there was some spill over effect on Irfan's profile as well. With most of his 'fans' worried for him and hoping that he would be more careful about naming his child.

TWITTERATI REACTED TO THE JOYOUS NEWS, BUT HOPED THE CRICKETER NAMED THE KID CAREFULLY:
