Allan Border came out in the open saying that former Pakistan skipper Mushtaq Mohd had offered him one million USD to lose the fifth Test against England in Edgbaston. Thirteen years later, the Pakistan batting great spoke for the first time about Border's claims and said that the two only had a tongue-in-cheek conversation on the sidelines of the Test match.
Shane Warne and fellow spinner Tim May told the Australian Cricket Board that Pakistan skipper Salim Malik offered them 1,35,000 pounds each to play badly in a Test match.
May also told the judicial commission in Melbourne later on that roommate Warne was invited by Malik to his hotel room during the first Test and Warne spent ten minutes in
Malik's room.
