Satyalaksh Jain (252) and Sayyed Abrail Jilaniu00a0 (233 not out) scored magnificent double tons to help defending champions Rizvi Springfield (Bandra) pile on 551-2 against Balmohan Vidyamandir (Marathi) on Day One of the Giles Shield Elite Division round two tie held at Cross Maidan yesterday. The double tonners thanked coach Raju Pathak for pushing them to give their best.

"In the first round, even though I scored 95, sir scolded me for getting out cheaply and very sternly told me that he wouldn't keep me in the playing XI if I don't perform," said 12-year-oldu00a0 Satyalaksh, whose knock yesterday included 30 fours and three sixes.
Abrail hit 20 boundaries in his knock and is aiming for a triple ton today. "I scored 72 runs in the first round and still got scolded by sir. That inspired me to prove my worth. I'm glad that I scored a double ton today. I hope to score a triple ton tomorrow (Wednesday)," said the 13-year-old.
