Shane Warne's Royals exit IPL-II with four-wicket defeat to Knight Riders
Having already been knocked out of the competition quite some time ago Kolkata Knight Riders spoilt the party for Rajasthan Royals by dumping them out of the second edition of the Indian Premier League with a four-wicket win at Kingsmead in Durban today.

Restricting Shane Warne's men for a paltry 101 for nine in their stipulated 20 overs, KKR chased, not very comfortably though, but emerged victors in the end with half an over to spare. For the Knight Riders, Laxmi Ratan Shukla held the innings together with a well-made 48 runs off 46 balls that included three four and two sixes.
The Royals however had their chances and on quite a few occasions sniffed victory with KKR losing early wickets. And at one stage when KKR were 45 for six after 11.3 overs, Warne's men would have fancied their chances of sure shot win and with it a place in the semi-finals of the tournament. However, that was not to be as Shukla, who earlier failed to get any wickets off his four overs, delivered some big hits with the bat to see his team through.
Earlier, opener Naman Ojha (22) top-scored for the Royals who had as many as seven players unable to get into double figures. South African Charl Langeveldt was the pick of the KKR bowlers claiming three for 15 off four overs.
