On a rainy Sunday, the Dr HD Kanga Cricket League, yesterday witnessed two Division 'A' matches abandoned without a ball being bowled and the rest five drawn as no team got a first innings lead.
Despite the rain interruption, National CC pacer Atish Gawand (5-31) bowled well to dismiss Dadar Union Sporting Club for just 146. Tushar Kotian and Rohit Rane scored 49 and 30 respectively for the Dadar team. However, while chasing, National CC lost eight wickets for 91, thanks to pacer Siddharth Raut (six for 23).
Meanwhile, at Cross Maidan, Shivam Dubey's unbeaten 100 saw Karnataka SA declare on 227 for six against Sind SC, who then scored 101 for five.
