Instead of starting on August 2, the Kanga League will now begin on August 9. The MCA has called for a Managing Committee meeting on August 2 to decide on the issues faced by a few clubs. “Unless there is clarity on which teams will be relegated and demoted, it will be difficult to start the newseason,” said an official.
Although the MCA president Sharad Pawar has given his ruling on the issue a few weeks ago, many officials and members do not agree with the decision. The affected clubs have also made their displeasure known to the MCA.
