Modi was sacked on the eve of the 2010 IPL final. The Board was headed by Shashank Manohar at the time. Apart from being involved in financial irregularities, Modi has been accused of forming a rebel league.

Fearing a life threat, Modi now lives in London. Twenty-one votes will be needed to ban Modi for life. Modi has regularly targeted current president N Srinivasan on Twitter where he has pointed out how conflict of interest is the bane of Indian cricket.u00a0
