"It was just a normal chat and discussion on the coach's report after we have completed the Ranji season. We asked him whether he wants anything more from the MCA in terms of facilities," MCA treasurer Ravi Savant told MiD DAY yesterday.
It is learnt that the coach, who had spelt out his plans before the start of the season, was queried on the performance of the team, which lost the semi-final to Tamil Nadu at the Wankhede Stadium. "We have pledged out support to the team which was really young and inexperienced and have done really well with limited resources. We missed the services of some key players through the season and despite that, we did quite well," Savant said.
Asked about the coach's version, the official didn't want to dwell on the matter. "Everything cannot be divulged," Savant said.
