Riding on Devaadithyan SR's 166, Rizvi Springfield (Bandra) declared their first innings on 489-4 on Day One of the Harris Shield (Elite) Super League Round Three match against Green Bombay Urdu (Kurla) at Matunga Gymkhana yesterday. Batting first, Devaadithyan put on 199 runs for the opening wicket with Faizan Rabbani (86). Devaadithyan's knock was laced with 28 fours. Faizan supported him well at the other end, smashing 14 fours and a six. The brutal attack continued on Green Bombay as Shubham Mestry took over from Faizan, getting a quickfire 60 off 39 balls. Shubham and Devaadithyan accumulated 125 for the second wicket. Saad Shaikh contributed 76, while Al-Saad Shaikh scored 44 not out.

Green Bombay fumble
In reply, the Kurla outfit finished the day on 86-4. Rizvi's left-arm spinner Aman Manihar claimed two wickets, while pacer Moin Khan and off-spinner Saad Shaikh grabbed one wicket each.


Nishant scores ton
In another match, ton-up Nishant Kadam was the shining star for Swami Vivekanand (Kandivli) as they declared their innings on 369-9 on Day One against Lilavati Podar (Santacruz). Rithik Jain scored 56, while Prateek Gond made 51. For Lilavati Podar, left-arm spinner Krishang Rao claimed 5-77. The Santacruz outfit ended the day at 7-1.
