Manchester City are set to offer manager Roberto Mancini a ufffd22million four-year contract, The Sun reported yesterday.
City can clinch their first title in 44 years with victory over QPR on Sunday and the owners want to reward the Italian with a £2m-a-year pay rise — taking his salary to £5.5m a year — even if they fail to win the title. This deal will make Mancini England’s best-paid boss, alongside Alex Ferguson.
