Mario Gomez set for Bayern Munich exit

Mario Gomez is on the verge of leaving Bayern Munich, although Napoli is not his likely destination, according to the player's agent Uli Ferber.

Gomez, who found himself as second-choice striker for much of the season still has a contract with Bayern until 2016. “All will be cleared in the next three or four days,” said Ferber. “Gomez will opt for the best solution.”

One of those potential solutions appears to be a move to the EPL with reports suggesting Chelsea and Manchester City are running the rule over the Germany striker.
