UEFA president Michel Platini has branded claims Samir Nasri could be banned for two years by France for his behaviour at Euro 2012 "absolutely ludicrous".
Nasri gesticulated angrily to the stands following his equaliser in the opening game against England. Then he got himself in a four-letter exchange with a journalist following France’s exit to Spain.

Platini said: “If I got suspended every time I insulted a journalist I wouldn’t have had many caps. I have heard talk of two-year suspension but that’s absolutely ludicrous.”
