Australia's middle-order batsman Mike Hussey was frustrated at not being given an opportunity to regain fitness for the World Cup as afforded to all-rounder Andrew Symonds four years ago.

The 35-year-old Hussey said he should have been given time to prove his fitness for later matches -- a latitude similar to that offered to Symonds in the Caribbean four years ago.
