Antonio Cassano flew out of Italy with AC Milan today and is set to train with his new team-mates for the first time at their training camp in Dubai.
The Serie A leaders agreed terms with Sampdoria earlier this month for the permanent transfer of Cassano.
The 28-year-old forward is set to be officially confirmed as a Milan player when documents are lodged with the Lega Calcio at the start of January, however he was granted permission by Sampdoria to join up with his new club early. Cassano is suspended until January 31 and has not featured for Sampdoria since being dropped from the squad in October following a heated argument with club president Riccardo Garrone.
