Chairman of Mumbai selectors Milind Rege is confident that issues between Ajit Agarkar and the team management would be resolved soon. The veteran pacer furiously left the team hotel after being ignored for the Ranji Trophy tie against Orissa yesterday.

"I have been informed that Ajit has come back home. I don't know whether he left (the team) furiously because I wasn't there. Once the team management comes back, we will get a detailed report about the incident.
Confident
"I am confident that all issues will be sorted amicably. That has been Mumbai's strength over the years," Rege told MiD DAY yesterday. Agarkar was informed about his exclusion on the eve of the match by skipper Wasim Jaffer and coach Sulakshan Kulkarni.
Rege refused to comment when asked whether Agarkar's action was against the spirit of teamsmanship. "What is right or wrong is a very subjective issue. Let's wait for the team to come back," the former Mumbai captain added.
