New Delhi: Teenage prodigy Prithvi Shaw was yesterday named captain of the India Blue squad for the U-19 Challenger Trophy to be held in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh from October 26 to 29. The Mumbai batsman has scored 403 runs in U-19 level this season.
It includes three magnificent centuries in the Vinoo Mankad under-19 tournament played in Himachal Pradesh. Prithvi rose to prominence by scoring 546 in a 2013 Harris Shield elite division match until the record was surpassed by Pranav Dhanawade in January this year.
