Brazilian star Ronaldinho is almost certain to miss out on a place in his country's squad for this summer's Olympic football tournament after being left out of the list for four upcoming friendlies.
The 32-year-old former Barcelona man had hoped to play a part in Brazil’s bid for Olympic gold in London but is not in coach Mano Menezes’ 23-man squad for the Games.
“Supporters must understand that they think one man can be the solution to all of Brazilian football’s problems but it does not work like that. Now is the time to look at younger options,” said Menezes.
