No worries for Zaheer Khan

Zaheer Khan not taking the field during Gujarat's second innings on the penultimate day of the Ranji Trophy game caused a buzz yesterday.

However, coach Sulakshan Kulkarni dispelled fears by saying, “there is nothing to worry. Zaheer is taking rest. There are no injury concerns.”

Zaheer suffered from cramps while batting. It can be recalled that Zaheer had skipped the third day of the opening encounter against Railways after a hamstring pull on the previous day. He did not bowl on the last day.
