I could be one of the few sportspersons to have been able to spend a few weekends that could be termed as ideal. And that is relaxing in only one place, Goa.

Pankaj Advani's perfect weekend: Goa

I could be one of the few sportspersons to have been able to spend a few weekends that could be termed as ideal. And that is relaxing in only one place, Goa.

There are so many advantages of spending some quality time in Goa. First, you can just go away from all the

noise in the city. And then, more importantly, there cannot be anything better in the world than the beautiful beaches in Goa. For all human beings, irrespective of age, it makes for a perfect holiday destination. It helps me unwind, relax and get rejuvenated.u00a0u00a0

Of all the beaches, Baga in North Goa is my favourite. I think it is the best beach in India. Right from all the rides to various eateries, there's so much on offer.

Given a choice, I would like start my morning late. I would prefer to sleep a lot, as much as the body would require. Once I wake up at whatever time, I would love to go to the beach and do whatever I feel like doing to relax depending on the mood. I would either swim, or play in the water or just lie on the beach.

And then in the evening I would love to have a sumptuous meal. Many will wonder why I want to be in Goa since I am a pure vegetarian but believe me, Goa offers some lovely vegetarian delicacies. Gone are the times when they used to say: if you are a vegetarian and go to Goa, bhookhe mar jaoge.
