Mumbai Indians physio Patrick Farhat was handed a suspended fine of USD 10,000 by the IPL disciplinary committee for misconduct during an earlier match in the Indian Premier League.

According to a media release, the IPL Disciplinary Committee comprising chairman Chirayu Amin and governing council member Ravi Shastri decided that the financial penalty is suspended for the remainder of the 2011 edition and 2012 season.

The punishment was handed out due to an incident of misconduct near the dug-out during Mumbai Indians' match against Delhi Daredevils at the Wankhede Stadium on May 7.
