The Indian hockey team, who are in New Zealand for a four-nation tournament, was in for a pleasant surprise when former India captain and current India U-19 coach Rahul Dravid (above, encircled) paid them a visit. Yesterday, the India U-19 team entered the quarter-finals of the World Cup beating Papua New Guinea by 10 wickets in Tauranga.
The Indian hockey team, who play their first match against Japan today, are also in the same city, and Dravid dropped in to wish them luck. Former captain and goalkeeper PR Sreejesh, posted this picture and tweeted, "Great encouragement from the legend of cricket who was humble enough to drop in to support hockey. Thanks Rahul Bhai."
