Afteru00a0Mumbai put up 400 in the first innings of their Ranji Trophy quarter-final against Haryana in Rohtak yesterday, Dhawal Kulkarniu00a0 picked up two important wickets on the second day give the defending champions the upper hand.

At close of play, Haryana were 34 for 2 and importantly for Mumbai, Haryana mainstay and Plate division's top-run getter, Sunny Singh, was dismissed for a duck. Earlier in the day, resuming from their overnight score of 238 for 5, Mumbai reached 400 with Ajinkya Rahane scoring 143, Ramesh Powar 53 and Iqbal Abdulla remaining unbeaten on 45.
