Rajkot: Illegal construction at cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s restaurant was razed yesterday during a demolition drive launched by the local civic body against unauthorised structures in the city.
Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) pulled down illegal houses, shops and an unauthorised portion of “Jadddu’s Food Field”, the restaurant owned by the 28-year-old all-rounder who is currently a member of India’s Test team.
“A team of RMC pulled down a store room and a kitchen constructed illegally by the management of Jaddu’s Food Field restaurant located on Kalavad Road,” Town Planning Officer M D Sagathiya said.
