"Men who have a hair transplant face a sex ban for one full week. It is a very important factor and we have to stress it over and over to patients," the Sun quoted Transplant surgeon Dr Bessam Farjo as saying.
Experts also said that Rooney should wear a hat on his holiday in Barbados with wife Coleen.
"It's dangerous. Men can't feel the scalp burn," Farjo added.
Looks like the 25-year-old England ace who had the 10,000 pound treatment is thrilled about his new hair.
"The new hair is coming on people. Swelling gone down," he tweeted.
