"Sad day as Emily Scott and I have gone our separate ways. We will always remain great friends & will continue to support each other," tweeted the 45-year-old Warne.
"Emily Scott is an amazing lady, a really special person. We wish each other nothing but the best & as I said, will remain awesome friends," he added. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Warne and Scott met in 2006 when she was hired as a model for the launch of Warne's poker company.
"However their romance didn't kindle until Scott, also a successful DJ, played music at a function for the Shane Warne Foundation in May.
Only weeks ago Warne, according to the Herald Sun newspaper, had introduced Scott to his children, and described their relationship as 'fantastic' and 'chilled,' the newspaper reported.
Last November, Warne split with actress Liz Hurley, who he got engaged to in October 2011. He is a father to three children (Brooke, Jackson and Summer) from his first marriage to Simone Callahan.
