He confided to his friends that he thinks that the record-breaking winger has a big enough personality and the right presence at the club to take on the responsibility of sustaining success at Old Trafford It wouldn't be an easy task for anyone to take over as United's manager, when Ferguson eventually decides to retire, but few would know Fergie's way of working more than Giggs, who has worked with him for the last 21 years.
Giggs's next game for United will be his 900th for the club, which is the latest landmark in an incredible career.

Liverpool kept up their success in the 1970s and 80s by employing managers from within the club and there is a good probability that United might follow the same route, The Daily Mail reports.
Even Paul Scholes recently admitted in an interview that Giggs could be the right choice for managing United once Ferguson decides to retire.
"People have talked about Jose Mourinho. It can change quickly - it's about who is successful at the time," said Scholes.
"Whether they are British or foreign, you just want the best man for the job. I could see Ryan Giggs becoming manager," he said.
