The health condition of dengue-affected Snehasish Ganguly, the elder brother of former Indian cricket team captain and Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly, remained "a matter of concern" today after his platelet count plummeted to 20,000. The normal platelet count for a healthy adult is 1.5-4.5 lakh per microlitre of blood. Describing the former Bengal Ranji cricketer's health condition as "stable", a senior official of a city hospital told PTI, "His temperature was recorded at around 99 degrees (Fahrenheit) and he did not complain of any body ache. But his condition is a matter of concern for us."
