Dhaka: South Africa pacer Wayne Parnell received an anonymous, threatening phone call here on the day of the first T20I against Bangladesh on Sunday, ESPNCricinfo reported.
According to the BCB&rsquo;s security consultant Hossain Imam, Parnell was abused and threatened by an anonymous caller.
&ldquo;Soon after the incident, we informed the intelligence agencies,&rdquo; Imam was quoted as saying by the Bengali daily Kaler Kantho.
&ldquo;They have been trying to trace the caller and from where the call was made,&rdquo; he added.
