Prior caused a furore when a bat discarded following his dismissal against Sri Lanka ricocheted against a window, sending shattered glass into the MCC members ufffd among them 22-year-old Emma Baker.

"It certainly wasn't something that I expected to happen, but it hasn't put me off cricket or coming to watch England play here. Everyone was very nice about it.

"Matt Prior has said he is sorry and I've accepted that. I realise these things sometimes happen in the dressing room and I won't be taking the matter further," she was quoted as saying on the Daily Mail.

Prior, who was run out following a mix-up with Ian Bell, emerged from the England dressing room to apologise to the members and captain Andrew Strauss said no disciplinary action would be taken against Prior.
