Sri Lanka hire ex-ICC chief Haroon Lorgat
Sri Lanka’s cash-strapped cricket board has appointed former International Cricket Council (ICC) chief executive Haroon Lorgat as an advisor for three months, the board said yesterday.

South African Lorgat, 52, who quit the ICC in June after serving as CEO for four years, will assist in improving the “governance and administration” of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), a release from the board said.
