Henriques blasted 49 off 23 balls in Sydney’s 185 for five and then struck thrice in the Chennai innings which ended at 171 for nine in 20 overs. Shane Watson (46) and fast bowler Mitchell Starc (3-31) also contributed to the win.
Meanwhile, Yorkshire, who are without any big names, looked impressive in the qualifiers and won both their matches.
Yorkshire’s top-order batting form remains a concern, but they have found decent hands in the middle-order with Gary Ballance and Adil Rashid.
