Mirpur: Bangladesh beat Afghanistan by 141 runs in the third one-day international to win the three-match series 2-1 here on Saturday.
Opener Tamim Iqbal set up the victory with a run-a-ball 118 guiding Bangladesh to 279-8 before three wickets from left-arm spinner Mosharraf Hossain helped the home side dismiss Afghanistan for 138 runs in 33.5 overs. Rahmat Shah was the highest scorer for Afghanistan with 36 runs.
