European football's governing body UEFA yesterday said that a series of blasts in Ukraine had not dented its confidence in the Euro 2012 co-host's security measures.
“This event does not change UEFA’s confidence in the security measures that have been developed by the authorities in view of UEFA Euro 2012,” it said in a statement e-mailed to AFP.
