To the Indian cricket fraternity and fans, Dilip Vengsarkar is synonymous with Lord's. Now, the young cricketers from his academy will get an opportunity to grace the hallowed turf.
The academy team comprising players from Mumbai and Pune, leave for a two-week tour to England today to participate in nine matches for which they will practice at Lord's on August 25.

Vengsarkar has been invited to witness the England vs South Africa Test which kicks off on August 16.u00a0The Mumbai batting stalwart made history in 1986 when he became the only non-Englishman to score three Test centuriesu00a0at Lord's. His first two century-efforts came on the 1979 andu00a01982 tours.
