Sarfaraz Khan, the Under-19 cricketer who was among the leading run-scorers for India in the Junior World Cup in UAE, was on Friday included in Mumbai's senior team, which is currently playing in the West Zone Vijay Hazare Trophy league in Rajkot.

Khan had amassed 211 runs in six games with two half centuries in the U-19 World Cup, where India finished fifth.

He will join the team ahead of Mumbai's last two league matches on March 2 and 3 against Saurashtra and Maharashtra, respectively, MCA's joint secretary Nitin Dalal said.
This is the first time Khan has as been included in the Mumbai senior squad.
Khan and off-spin bowling all-rounder Deepak Hooda were the two Indian batsmen who scored in excess of 200 runs and also averaged 70-plus in the U-19 World Cup. P
