After joking that in marriage, a wife shops and husband works, Virender Sehwag hits himself out of the park on Twitter by celebrating his stint as shopper for KXIP at the IPL Auction 2017
First Viru says 'wives shop', then goes and buys cricketers at IPL Auction

Former India opener Virender Sehwag was known for his explosive batting during his heydays. He is now known for his dsiplays of wit in 140 characters or less, quite like the T20 format in cricket.
Viru paaji, who was recently appointed the Head of Cricket Operations and Brand Ambassador of IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab, started a new innings on Monday when he came to the IPL Players Auction 2017 as a shopper.
Now, that's strange since a couple of days prior to the Auction, Sehwag had suggested in a tweet that marriage was all about the husband working and wife shopping.
He though was careful to also make it clear that his wife, Aarti, did both -- shopped and worked.

But within 48 hours, he had to hit a reverse sweep off his own bowling as he found himself in the role of a shopper. But the 'Nawab of Najafgarh and Twitter' was sporting enough to take a dig at himself.

He tweeted that at the IPL Auction, it was he who was doing the shopping, while the owners did all the work. He then punned on the word workshop, with the allusion to the IPL Owners' Workshop being equal parts work and shopping.
Today in #IPLAuction , owners had to work and Sehwag shop. Enjoyed the shopping and looks like a good WorkShop . https://t.co/DW9eT9bVqU

He had earlier suggested as a joke that in marriages wives shop, while husbands work. But also put the diusclaimer that his wife did both.
