Virender Sehwag's reply to Smriti Mandhana comparison is brilliant!

Opening batsman for the Women’s Indian women's cricket team, Smriti Mandhana was lauded for her stellar score at the recent ICC Women's Championship, but it was Virender Sehwag who had a lot to say about the lady.

Opening batsman for the Women’s Indian women's cricket team, Smriti Mandhana is in a great form at the on-going ICC Women’s World Cup. She scored 90 runs of 72 balls against England and 106 runs of 108 balls against West Indies. Her stellar performance has helped India with with 35 runs and 7 wickets, making them strong contenders for the knockout stage of the competition.

In a report by the Indian Express, Mandhana's impressive display of skill and finesse has won her fans and plenty of attention from players and the media who have lauded the skilled, 20-year-old batsman from Sangli. The leading lady also won Man Of the Match in both games. One of Manshana’s fans tweeted likening her to opener and former India batsman Vierender Sehwag, who was known for his batting style.

The user wrote that Mandhana Smriti is the female version of Virender Sehwag and that he should be proud of her. Sehwag was quick to reply and say that the win was completely Mandhana’s and that there will be only one Mandana Smiriti. Sehwag’s comment was so powerful that it resounded with Australia women’s cricketer Mel Jones who said, Sehwag’s words were “one of the quotes of Women’s World Cup 2017”.
