"We have tried to get closer to them but we never copied anybody, we always tried to play our football," Wenger told the official Arsenal website.
"We can gain more respect from everybody if we turn up on Sunday with absolutely full commitment, then people will say this team is ready to have a real go and not choose the competition or the games.
"When you are a top-level competitive man or team you go absolutely 100 per cent committed into every game," he said.
Wenger has also revealed that centre-back Johan Djourou should be available to face Orient tonight, despite initial injury concerns. "Djourou looks to be much better than expected, Walcott as well."
