"We were happy to be in the Twenty20 and happy to make the semi-finals but we're disappointed in the way we lost the game. We're now focused on rebounding by winning here against India," Gayle said.
"We're working hard to get a strong start on Friday and capitalise on that throughout the series," he added.
Gayle said India would be determined to prove a point against his team at the Sabina Park tomorrow while the hosts would want to belt as many wins as possible making it a tough and interesting series.
"Both teams are looking to win and they (Indians) are trying to prove something against us. At the same time we want to get more wins under our belt and continue our development. It's going to be a tough series but we're excited about it and want to have fun and play some good cricket all around.
